Walking on one of GRLT's hiking paths

We are grateful for every membership and gift made to the Georges River Land Trust in support of our mission. Your gifts will assure that farms, fields, and wildlife will provide beauty, sustenance, and recreational opportunities for generations to come. Thank you for your support!

Join our monthly giving Evergreen Circle – Evergreen Circle is an innovative way to contribute to the Land Trust on a monthly basis throughout the year. This method of donating to GRLT provides steady and reliable support to the organization so staff can focus on the critical work of conservation. You determine the amount of your monthly gift and we will charge your credit card accordingly each month (minimum $5). Evergreen Circle members no longer receive membership reminder mailings, and help the Land Trust save on printing and mailing costs. It's a great option to help more of your membership dues go directly to programs. You can sign up online by clicking on the "Make a Special Contribution" box above or call the office at (207) 594-5166. When you click above, be sure to enter "Evergreen Circle" in the "enter description" section of the form. We are grateful to those of you who wish to partner in this ever-green fashion!

Build our endowment – Watershed Fund – Just as the land you help us conserve is permanently protected, we must ensure that they are always cared for. A gift to GRLT's endowment, the Watershed Fund, will grow over time and be conservatively invested to provide a stream of income while also protecting your principal investment. To make a gift to the endowment, select the "Make a Special Contribution" box above and be sure to tell us you are making a gift to the Watershed Fund, or contact us at (207) 594-5166.

Gift of land or conservation easement – You can contribute directly to conservation in the St. George River watershed by conserving property you own. There are a variety of ways to conserve land, and a donation of either the fee title or a conservation easement on the land can provide you with significant tax advantages. Each land conservation project is tailored to the landowner's needs, thus we recommend you call and talk to our Conservation Program Manager, Annette Naegel, to find out more about making a gift of land or of a conservation easement. Please call (207) 594-5166.

Estate gifts – A gift to the Georges River Land Trust in your estate planning can leave a lasting legacy in your name. There are a variety of options for gift planning, and we would be pleased to discuss them with you. Please contact us at (207) 594-5166.

Gift of securities – A gift of appreciated securities can be a tax savvy way to achieve your philanthropic as well as financial goals. If you are interested in making a gift of securities, please contact us at (207) 594-5166.

Gift of your time and talents – Volunteers are the life-blood of our efforts and we would love to have you help out! Click here for more information about volunteering with the Georges River Land Trust.
