Normal website usage:
The Georges River Land Trust has a strong commitment to internet privacy. You can visit most portions of www.grlt.org without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. The only information about you we may collect occurs when you make an online contribution and provide that information to us (see below).
Collection of personally identifiable information:
Georges River Land Trust may collect email addresses and other personally identifiable data about visitors to our site when such data is voluntarily submitted to us when an on-line contribution is made. Georges River Land Trust has partnered with PayPal to process online contributions utilizing a VeriSign Secured Seal, secure server and up-to-date encryption methods.
Georges River Land Trust does not receive identifying financial information about our donors from PayPal (for example, we do not receive credit card or bank account information from PayPal). We do, however, receive your name and address so that we may acknowledge your gift, as required by IRS regulations, and so that you may receive the benefits of membership such as the Georges River Land Trust newsletter. We also receive your email address which is used solely to correspond with you about the transaction – in case of any difficulty with the transaction and to acknowledge receipt of your contribution.

If you decide to provide credit card information to Georges River Land Trust directly (i.e., by making a contribution through the mail and asking us to charge the contribution to your credit card), Georges River Land Trust will retain this information until the transaction has been authorized; the information will then be destroyed. Georges River Land Trust makes sure that this information is rendered unreadable prior to its disposal. Georges River Land Trust does not store or retain credit card information you provide to us.
Georges River Land Trust makes every effort to ensure the secure collection and transmission of sensitive user information using industry accepted data collection and encryption methodologies.
Georges River Land Trust does not sell or otherwise disclose user information outside the organization. This policy has no exceptions. We do not sell or exchange your information with any other organization, public, private, or non-profit.
In summary, Georges River Land Trust will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide it to us.

At this time, grlt.org does not employ "cookies" (a small file placed in the browser files of a visitor's computer).
Amendment:
Georges River Land Trust may amend this policy from time to time. If we make substantial changes in the way we use your name, address, or other information about you that you have disclosed to us, we will notify you by posting announcements on our web site. Regardless of later updates, we will never use the information you submit under this current notice in a new way (in a way not described in this notice) without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
